Spring and a Race

March 27th, 2007

Went for a quick visit this past weekend in Indiana. It was great to see the family and spend time with everyone. Hopefully I can figure out how to spend some more time up there this summer or have some people come to visit. Gets a bit lonely living by myself.

When I got back from my trip I found that the trees have started budding and it’s definitely heading towards spring setting very fast here. I’m loving it. A little more rain but so many more things to take pics of. That’s the best. In that vein of things, I’m going to head up to DC saturday for a day of photos and tourism with Gareth. Hopefully we can get out of C-ville around 5 or 6am and have some good morning lighting for my pictures. Then in the crappy noon lighting do some museum/indoor stuff and back outside for evening lighting before heading home. Then it’s up early the next morning to head down to Martinsville. Yes, it’s true. NASCAR event for me on sunday. I’m not a big fan, in fact, I wouldn’t even say I’m a fan, but it should be fun, it’s not very expensive and I’m sure the beer will be delicious. Supposed to be cloudy but no rain so that will be nice too.

Just a very busy weekend ahead. I need to figure out when I’m going to look at apartments though too. Oh well.
