Out of body computing…

October 20th, 2007

I am setting at my computer and all of a sudden I feel like I’m about 20 feet away. It is perhaps the strangest feeling I’ve ever had. No, I’ve never done drugs so that could be part of it. It feels like

my arms are extremely long and I’m typing on a keyboard very far away. Also, feels like the screen is super far-away but I can still see it alright. A fairly intense feeling of vertigo happens once in a while and my eyes keep going slightly in and out of focus. Once in a while I feel like everything is spinning.

How exactly does losing your mind feel?

  1. There are many accounts of out of body experiences and drugs can help but they are not necessary. I believe it’s called astral travel. It’s much better of course when it happens on purpose and I can understand that it can be scary - but I think it’s rather awesome.

If it happens again I would get a physical exam - some imbalance of some sort could be the cause (and I’m only talking about the substances that make your body work and not about anything spiritual).

Btw, one cannot add comments to your livejournal blog for some reason.
