Single Again

We parted on good terms and I hope that we remain good friends because she is incredible and I love spending time with her just to hang out. It’s one of those things that I know is for the best for both of us but it’s still so hard to handle. It hurts and I wish I could fix everything and make it back to the way things were where everything worked out and people were happy and it all ended up the way I planned. Oh, but life got into it and changed things all up. I don’t regret any of it and I have great memories. I just miss times passed and am left with a longing for the ways things were.
From one of her favorite musicals and a quote I found on her IM info page a few months ago that has come to mean more very recently.

Sorry to hear about that. I am impressed that your outlook is positive, and you never know how things will work out. Some of my best friends now are ladies I have dated in the past, and it’s worked out for the best. Best wishes.
I’m sorry to hear that, it’s true that you sound positive about it. Being single is not that bad though, it comes with a lot of freedom.
