How much email do you get? couple a week? a day? an hour? constant incoming messages? i thought so. you need to get fast, efficient, deadly… you need to be an email ninja!
43 Folders had a wonderful post on what one should do to maximize work done via email while also minimizing time spent on that. Yes, we should all learn a few things… let us become ninja’s together.
Also, in this age of corporate accountability, i don’t recommend shredding financially incriminating information and being a greedy bastard like so many others. but if you want to chat with a friend about how your boss is a douchebag (or fellow students, etc) but don’t want to have a looming shadow of a paper trail (physical or electronic), check out google. They are like Jesus for the internet. A savior for the downtrodden and meek. The new google talk (based from within Gmail now) can be set to go “off the record” and stops both sides of the conversation from recording the communication. Awesome! Data can very easily come back to bite you in the ass and hump your mother. Paper trails are awesome when needed but are bad when used by vindictive colleagues.
