Networking Sleep

February 21st, 2006

I am frustrated, tired, and unmotivated.

I spent hours tonight trying to get my lappy on the wireless network from within SUSE 10.0 (Linux) to no avail. Well, some avail. I can see the wireless AP. I can open up pptpconfig (which is ready to connect my VPN). But i cannot get myself an IP address via DHCP. I don’t have dhclient on this distro and i have no idea how to use dhcpcd to get it working. Ugh. I just want to update the system wirelessly at school and not have to piss around with cable at friends’ houses. F’ing computers.

Oh, and i’m dreadfully tired and it’s affecting my desire to work/study/care. <sigh>
