Oatmeal Molasses Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup molasses
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup quick-cooking oats

Amish Peanut Butter
Ingredients:
1 C peanut butter
1 1/4 C light corn syrup
1/2 C marshmallow cream
Directions:
Blend everything together until smooth. Consistency should be like a very thick syrup - think molassas on a cool day.
Great on anything you would normally put peanut butter on. Personally, I love it on banana waffles or as a dip for brownies. [...]

These tasty morsels are similar to bread and butter pickles. They have a sweet taste but are not as sweet as sweet pickles. Good just for dipping a fork into the jar and getting a quick, pickled snack.
